History of Mailsi

During the reign of Muhammad Ghori, the Khichi Chauhan Rajputs constructed the city of Mailsi. Mailsi Tehsil was established in 1849, and the town committee for Mailsi was established in 1924. On August 14, 2001, it was proclaimed a Tehsil municipal administration after being promoted to a Municipal Committee in 1953.
